Travel Tryouts

Travel Try outs are slated for the week of May 2.  Instead of doing it by gender we will be holding them by age.

Monday/Wednesday (May 2 and 4)will be 2010-2014 (or younger) from 6-7:30

Tuesday/Thursday (May 3 and 5) will be 2005-2009 from 6-7:30

Friday (May 6) we will use as a rain make up if needed.

Information - Risk Management






Volunteer Qualification Affidavit (required for Volunteers who are PA residents for greater than 10 continuous years) (PDF): Click Here

All individuals must submit the required documents to the Pottsgrove Soccer Risk Management Officer via email (with attachments) or via hard copy prior to acceptance as a volunteer or paid individual. 
Hard copies should be submitted via mail to the following address: Pottsgrove Soccer Club, Attn: Risk Management Officer, PO Box 1548, Pottstown, PA 19464   

Per Act 153, clearances shall be valid for three (3) years from the date of issuance. 


Upon request 
Pottsgrove Soccer Club will reimburse all volunteers for the fees for their Risk Management clearances.  Applicants should provide receipts along with the clearances to receive their reimbursement.  


Volunteers
 must provide the following:

  -State Police Criminal Record Check
  -PA Child Abuse History Clearance
  -if PA resident for at least 10 continuous years…a complete and notarized Volunteer affidavit
  -if PA resident for less than 10 continuous years…FBI Criminal Background Check
 

Individuals who are paid to oversee the children/have direct contact with children must provide the following:

  -State Police Criminal Record Check
  -PA Child Abuse History Clearance
  -FBI Criminal Background Check
 

Individuals who are paid are required to comply with the law immediately.

If a volunteer is arrested for or convicted of an offense that would constitute grounds for denying participation in a program, activity or service, or is named as a perpetrator in a founded or indicated report, the volunteer must provide the administrator or their designee with written notice not later than 72 hours after the arrest, conviction or notification that the person has been listed as a perpetrator in the statewide database. A volunteer who willfully fails to disclose information as required above commits a misdemeanor of the third degree and shall be subject to discipline up to and including termination or denial of a volunteer position.
